Charles Parish Sheriff's Office has an opening for an evening position of a Part time Process Server Civilian in the Judicial Process Division.
The hours for this position are 2 p.
m.
to 7 p.
m.
Essential functions of the position include the following:
Serving paperwork in a timely manner.
Attempt services at least once a day, preferably twice a day at different times of the day.
Leaving notes, checking with neighbors, whatever it takes to get the services made.
Returning of services, either served or not served.
Return paperwork as soon as possible, the same day or at the most, the next day so it can be entered in the computer.

Eligibility Must have a High school diploma or GED Must be a US Citizen Must have a current Louisiana Drivers License with clean driving record No criminal history Must be at least 18 years of age Applicants must possess good communication skills and be able to deal with the public.
A good working knowledge of both East and West Bank areas of the parish Must have legible hand writing Must be available for call out after normal working hours Physical Requirements You will be required to complete a physical assessment which consists of:
Lifting a 20 pound box a copy paper Traversing a flight of stairs Disclaimer St.
