We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Production Clerk within our Taft Plant located in Hahnville, LA.
Essential Job Duties:
This position is responsible for coordinating and processing activities consistent with Corporate Policy and Budget Plans.
Daily data collection, entry & reconciliation of TPS & Postings to SAP.
Daily collecting and reporting of SAT routes to Supervisors.
Create Monthly spreadsheets for Month Close and Production Loss data.
Posting of Monthly Production Schedule for #1 Plant in SAP.
Manage all of the Plant 1 Raw Material monthly and annual Purchase Orders, keeping a database and schedule for ordering in SAP.
Maintain Workforce spreadsheet and Hurricane Drafting Process spreadsheets; Preserving historical data of all Production Technicians and area movements.
Interact with Pipeline Customers on a monthly basis for billing.
Provide Dallas Customer Service an Advise of Shipment for pipeline customers and Pipeline Summary volumes.
Update and maintain Production #1 Manuals & Procedure changes.
Update and maintain Production log sheets and SAT form changes, complying to the ISO controlled numbering system.
Monitor Techs Safety & Environ.
Critical Item requirements, Goal is 100% compliance.
Maintain the Taft Plant Radio database, radio repairs, and supply.
Maintain Vacation Schedules and Records for #1 Production Supervisors.
Enter and balance year end reports for PeopleSoft.
Perform a detailed Month Closing Process each month end, consisting of posting Production Products, ECU's, Pipelines, & Consumptions.
Balancing inventories of Raw Materials, Product and Product Consumptions in SAP and TPS systems.
Assist Production Engineer and Plant Accountant as needed during month close.
Maintain Procurement Card and Monthly Activity Report.
Maintain Taft Records Retention for Production Records #1 Plant.
Submit Oxy Expense records for all Production #1 Technicians, Maint & E&I.
Manage Waterworks, Ponchatrain Natural Gas & Function Checks.
Update monthly spreadsheets and distribute.
Maintain KCL Spreadsheet with daily entries in TPS, report monthly findings to accounting.
Run Alarm Summary for Plant 1 in DCS, file and distribute.
Weekly Data entry of Diaphragm Depositing log sheets (Access).
Gather variable cost numbers from Accounting & TPS, update #1 Variable Factor Charts & distribute.
Provide support for #1 Prod Superintendent (Scheduling meetings & coordinating resources).
Maintain office supplies for Plant 1 Prod (Supervisors, Technicians, Maintenance #1, E&I #1, and Clerical).
Participates and accepts responsibility for meeting plant and individual PSM goals and monthly spreadsheet responsibilities as required by HESP-610 Procedure.
Actively participates in plant's Health, Environmental, Safety and Security (HESS) programs to assure a safe and environmentally sound workplace.
Assumes accountability for meeting plant safety goals and various other requirements including training, work permits, critical items inspections, job observations, housekeeping, reporting hazards and issues, and working safely in job assignments.
Actively participates in safety meetings and various other HESS programs while promoting safety through offering recommendations to other employees on working safely.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have excellent planning and organization skills.
Must be self-motivated and exercise initiative and judgment to make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.
Physical requirements - must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, walking, bending, stooping is required.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator.
Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
Good skills with PC's including email and Windows applications, SAP, SAT, PeopleSoft, Oxy Expense, Fax, Xerox, and general filing systems.
Problem solving discrepancies in TPS, SAT, and PHD and special project assignments preferred.
